Coin Strike

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Coin Strike is one of those games that explains itself in about ten seconds and then quietly eats an hour. You flick coins across a board of shifting platforms, trying to land them on marked tiles before they slide off the edge. The physics feel weighty in a good way — a coin has real momentum, and you learn to read how it'll skid.

Control is pure touch: drag back to aim, release to launch, and the longer you hold the harder the throw. Later boards start tilting and rotating, so a shot that worked a second ago now sends your coin spinning into nothing. I liked that the difficulty ramps through level design rather than cheap gimmicks.

After a week with it, what stuck was how clean everything is. No cluttered menus, no energy timers nagging you. You open it, you flick some coins, you close it. The soundtrack is light and the little clink on a successful landing is weirdly satisfying. A great commute game.
